Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies

Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies...should I say more? The easiest part about this recipe is that the bulk of the work has already been done for you. With our brownie mix on hand alongside ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, you are less than an hour away to the most satisfying gluten-free peanut butter brownies you've ever tasted. 

Now this blog isn't going to be your typical recipe blog. You will not have to read three pages of my life story or spend half a minute scrolling down to finally get to the ingredients & instructions. We are serious business when it comes to our treats (joking, but not really?) and we want this to be as easy as possible for you. 

So let's get to it!

Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies


  • One bag of Sweet Gainz Co Brownie mix   
  • 1 egg 
  • 1/2 cup (113g) butter, melted 
  • 1/3 cup warm milk or water 
  • 3/4 heaping tablespoons of your favourite nut butter 
  • kosher salt (optional for topping) 



*Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and pre-line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper*

  • In one bowl, add in your melted butter (not too hot so it doesn't cook your beaten egg) egg, and warm milk. Whisk until all is combined 
  • Add in the entire bag of brownie mix and fold until a brownie like consistency is formed. 
  • Pour your brownie batter into your baking dish and spread evenly. 
  • Spoon your nut butter on top in 3/4 different sections (or more, depending on how many swirls you want) 

*heating up your nut butter slightly will help swirl in the batter 

  • With a knife, swirl through the brownie batter + nut butter mixture until everything is lightly incorporated on the top layer. 
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out with wet crumbs from the middle. 
  • Top with extra melted chocolate or kosher salt (my favourite topping) and let cool completely before cutting & serving.
